Anotation
Projekt je zameraný na predklinické in vivo testovanie inovatívnych biomateriálov pomocou zvieracieho modelu. Zloženie kompozitov je originálne a jedinečné, obsahujú zložku biocementu. V tomto usporiadaní bude prínosom analyzovať na zvieracom modeli ošípanej hojenie kĺbových defektov chrupky a tvrdých tkanív, charakterizovať formovanie jednotlivých komponentov kĺbovej chrupky a kosti a pochopiť postupnú transformáciu kompozitného implantátu. Sledovanie hojenia defektu kĺbovej chrupky a tvrdých tkanív budú zabezpečovať zobrazovacie metódy RTG, CT, MR, histologické, imunohistochemické a tiež molekulové metódy. Postup in vivo testovania biomateriálov, použitý v predkladanom projekte, predstavuje multidisciplinárne prepojenie metodík biomateriálového inžinierstva a in vivo testovania študovaných systémov, ktoré s vysokou pravdepodobnosťou umožnia posúdiť ich vhodnosť pre uplatnenie sa v humánnej medicíne.
The project is focused on pre-clinical in vivo testing of innovative biomaterials using the animal model. The structure of composites is original and unique, containing the biocement component. In this arrangement, it will be helpful to analyze in the pig animal model healing of joint cartilage and hard tissue defects, characterizing the formation of the individual components of the articular cartilage and bone and understanding the gradual transformation of the composite implant. Monitoring of the cartilage and hard tissue defect healing will provide by imaging methods RTG, CT, MR, histological, immunohistochemical or molecular methods. The in vivo biomaterial test procedure used in the present project represents the multidisciplinary connection of biomaterial engineering and in vivo testing of studied systems, that with high probability allow to assess their suitability for the using in human medicine.
