Anotation
Cieľom tohto projektu je sumarizácia aktuálnych poznatkov o koronavírusoch zvierat, ich pôvode, výskyte, možnostiach medzidruhového prenosu a zoonotickom potenciáli. Praktická časť projektu je zameraná na diagnostiku a stanovenie prevalencie koronavírusov zvierat využitím sérologických a molekulovo genetických metód s predpokladom nasledovnej genetickej analýzy izolátov. Získané poznatky a výsledky budú spracované do jednotlivých kapitol vysokoškolskej učebnice "Koronavírusové choroby zvierat", ktorá tak bude predstavovať ucelený literárny zdroj pre študentov študijných programov UVLF v Košiciach, praktických veterinárnych a humánnych lekárov.
The aim of this project is to summarise the current knowledge of animal coronaviruses, their origin, occurence, interspecies transmission and zoonotic potential. Practical part of the project focuses on the diagnosis and prevalenc determination of coronaviruses using serological and molecular methods witht the premise of a subsequent genetical analysis of the isolates. Aquired knowledge of coronaviruses will be transformed into textbook chapters of a university textbook entitled "Coronaviral diseases in animals". The textbook will represent a complex literature source for UVMP students, veterinary as well as human practitioners.
