Anotation
Hlavným cieľom projektu je získanie nových a originálnych informácií o potenciálne zoonotických patogénoch a ich vektoroch, ktorých rezervoármi a hostiteľmi môžu byť netopiere.
The project focuses on surveillance and molecular detection of vector-borne pathogens and blood parasites in Central European bat populations. The main objective of the project is to obtain new and original information on potentially zoonotic pathogens and their vectors for which bats may be reservoirs and hosts. The research tasks are carried out on the basis of cooperation between UVLF in Košice, the Institute of Zoology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Medical University of Vienna.
