Anotation
Hybridizácia a polyploidizácia sú významné evolučné procesy uplatňujúce sa vo všetkých skupinách rastlín. Vedú k vzniku polyploidných genotypov, ktorých stabilizácia do podoby ustálených druhov je možná často vďaka posunu reprodukčných spôsobov od sexuálneho k apomiktickému (klonálnemu) roznožovaniu. Takéto rastlinné systémy majú obyčajne oslabené reprodukčné bariéry, čo naviac akceleruje diverzifikáciu celého systému. Jednou z takýchto rastlinných skupín je rod jarabina Sorbus.
Hybridization and polyploidization are important evolutionary processes in all plants. They lead to the formation of polyploid genotypes, their stabilization to the form of established species is often possible due to the shift of reproduction modes from sexual to apomictic (clonal). Such plant systems have usually weak reproduction barriers, which further accelerates the diversification of the entire system. One such plant group is the genus Sorbus.
