Projekt má za cieľ komplexne sledovať výskyt, diagnostiku a nové možnosti terapie chronických enteropatií u psov a mačiek. Riešenie projektu si vyžaduje sledovanie nielen hematol a biochemických parametrov u histologicky dokázaných chronických enteropatií, ale monitorovať aj súvislostí s endokrinologickými vyšetreniami (TT4,fT4,kortizol,TSH,leptín) biomarkermi (calprotektín , inhibítor alfa-1 proteináza) a vitamínmi (foláty, kobalamín,D3). Ich vzájomné alterácie sa objavujú pri manifestácii chronických enteropatií vo vzťahu k autoimunitným ochoreniam alebo endokrinopatiám. V individuálnej terapii psov a mačiek sa okrem klasickej terapie budú overovať možnosti fekálnej transplantácie a kombinovanej liečby s použitím predovšetkým fytoterapie a homeopatie.

The project aims to comprehensively monitor the incidence, diagnosis and new treatment options for chronic enteropathies in dogs and cats. The solution of the project requires monitoring not only hematological and biochemical parameters in histologically proven chronic enteropathies, but also monitoring connections with endocrinological examinations (TT4, fT4, cortisol, TSH, leptin), biomarkers (calprotectin, α-1 proteinase inhibitor) and vitamins (folates, cobalamin) , calcitriol). Their mutual alterations appear in the manifestation of chronic enteropathies in relation to autoimmune diseases or endocrinopathies. In the individual therapy of dogs and cats, in addition to classical therapy, the possibilities of fecal transplantation and combined treatment using primarily phytotherapy and homeopathy will be verified.
